Youth

We support youth-led learning, leadership, and creative expression that equip young people to shape themselves, their futures, and communities.

The 72 Fund invests in resources and learning environments that empower youth to engage meaningfully with the world around them and take an active role in shaping their futures. We support initiatives that reflect the many ways young people lead and contribute—creatively, educationally, culturally, and humanitarily—with a focus on programs that nurture confidence, empathy, and personal growth.

Our investments to date have involved youth worldwide, and we will continue to invest and celebrate the next generation. We are committed to creating stable and supportive environments where students can thrive.

Looking ahead, we are developing two initiatives:

  • The Young Humanitarian Awards to recognize and celebrate students who demonstrate compassion, leadership, and a commitment to positive change
  • Toolkit: To Be Your Best Self providing skill-based activities for mental and physical wellbeing

The 72 Fund has made a meaningful, tangible difference for children and families around the world. The 72 Fund has supported UNICEF’s responses to earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, and the war in Ukraine where UNICEF reached nearly 3 million children and caregivers in Ukraine and border countries like Poland with mental health and psychosocial support. Collaboration with organizations like The 72 Fund means UNICEF can reach more children, families, and communities with lifesaving supplies and support when they need it most.
