Healthy Minds
We champion accessible, evidence-based mental health practices that strengthen wellbeing across all ages and backgrounds.
We invest in three therapeutic practices: music therapy, art therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each of these scientifically proven strategies can be used universally, applied to multiple diagnoses, and utilized by individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Because music and art are universal forms of expression and healing, they can play a powerful role in both individual and group settings. These therapies reduce stigma, foster emotional resilience, and support long-term mental wellbeing. They require no shared language or specialized materials, making them especially adaptable across cultures and environments.
CBT is an impactful tool for all stages of life. CBT can help people learn skills and strategies to address past, present, and future experiences. It can be tailored to the individual, no matter their age or location, making it developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive. CBT is truly a tool for life.
Through targeted investments and program development, The 72 Fund aims to expand access to these tools and strengthen the systems that support healthy minds.
Like us, a tree depends on strong foundations to grow and thrive. Its roots—much like our core needs—draw in the essential nutrients required for stability and growth. When these nutrients are absorbed, the tree has the support it needs to flourish.
The trunk represents the body: steady, resilient, and responsible for holding everything together. It connects what lies beneath the surface to what is visible above.
The leaves and branches reflect the mind—dynamic, ever-changing, and in need of regular care. Just as a tree requires pruning to remain healthy and balanced, our minds also benefit from ongoing attention and refinement.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental wellbeing. Growth requires regularly tending to both our roots and our branches—nourishing what sustains us and thoughtfully shaping what we carry forward.
